This project was implemented based the Declaration and the Plan of Action of the Ocean-related Ministers of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) on the promotion of partnership between the public and private sectors. The principal investigator of this project attended the 8th APEC Ocean and Fisheries Working Group (OFWG) meeting on Feb. 24-26, 2017, in Nha Trang, Vietnam. In that meeting, the summary of the 17th APEC Roundtable Meeting on the Involvement of the Business/Private Sector held in 2016 was presented. The project proposal for the 19th APEC Roundtable Meeting on the Involvement of the Business/Private Sector in 2018 was also proposed and endorsed by the OFWG at the meeting. Furthermore, the 18th APEC Roundtable Meeting on the Involvement of the Business/Private Sector has been held in Taipei on October 16-18, 2017. In addition, Volume XIX Issues I ＆ II of the APEC Bulletin on Marine Resource Conservation and Fisheries as well as the project web pages have been completed to fulfill the requirement of the project.
